Ultrasound poroelastography is a branch of elastography imaging technique, which estimates the time-dependent displacements and strains occurring in a tissue under sustained compression. This method has the ability to estimate diagnostically relevant mechanical properties of the tissue, i.e., Young’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio and interstitial and vascular permeabilities.
